Simone Tardent, Director of Bloom Building Consultants, had used AI to help write emails
and proposals but had hit a wall trying to make it do useful work across the business. Her
projects ran through Outlook, OneDrive, spreadsheets and a handwritten task list. She
wanted more capacity without employing someone, but she did not have the time to build the
system herself.
We started with filing and email because everything else depended on them. Together we
worked out how Bloom's projects and documents needed to be organised, moved the working
files into SharePoint and connected Claude to the business. From there we added inbox
triage, a daily morning brief and ClickUp project tracking, then taught the system to keep
each task connected to the relevant emails and project records.
About five weeks after that first working session, Simone was using the system every day.
Claude was filing documents, triaging email, creating and updating project tasks and
preparing work from the records already held by the business. Simone was also correcting
the process as she used it and teaching it from real examples, rather than waiting for a
perfect system to be designed up front.
Her assessment was simple: “My automation is a dream. I'm getting everything updated so
quickly, I'm working so much more efficiently than ever, and I feel like I'm on top of all
my work.”
